- Leadership and Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Healthcare Assistants, ensuring that they perform their duties effectively and with empathy.
- Person-Centered Care: Champion the delivery of person-centered care by actively engaging with residents to understand their individual needs, preferences, and choices.
- Training and Development: Support the continuous professional development of your team by providing ongoing training, feedback, and guidance to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Coordination of Care: Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver holistic care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social needs of each resident.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided, maintaining comprehensive records in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the overall care experience for residents.
- Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and other members of the healthcare team, ensuring clear and effective communication at all times.
